One of the region?s busiest Personal Injury legal teams has recruited a new and ambitious paralegal, to ensure it can continue to deliver for its growing number of clients.
Kirby Owens has joined Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors? Personal Injury team, working in the firm?s Stockton office.? Kirby graduated in 2010, having completed the four year LLB (Hons) Law Exempting degree at Northumbria University.? She has since gained more than two years? legal experience, the majority of it in personal injury work.
Kirby commented: ?Joining Tilly Bailey & Irvine Solicitors is ideal.? The firm?s personal injury department is well-respected in the region, but the team remains small enough for me to be able to make a difference through my work.? I?m already working closely with clients and able to provide them with any guidance needed.? Clients seeking Personal Injury advice are often going through testing and stressful times, and it?s important to me that I can be available when they need reassurance.?
Helen Elstob, who heads up the Personal Injury legal team at Tilly Bailey & Irvine?s Stockton offices, commented: ?Personal Injury is a growing area of our work, and it?s vital that we have the right people who can care for our clients.? Kirby?s experience, including working with defendants, made her standout, and we?re delighted to welcome her to our team here in Stockton.?
Kirby, 25, lives in Sunderland.? Outside of work, she enjoys sports including water sports and skiing.? She also regularly fundraises for local charity, The Toma Fund, which supports children undergoing treatment for cancer.? Most recently she completed a sky dive in aid of the charity.
